Learn more about Dr. Rodriguez

Our goal is to offer full-service dentistry at our office as a convenience to our patients, at each stage of life.

Managing your family's dental health is easily accomplished with good planning. We begin with a complete dental examination to provide you with a current oral health review, along with recommendations to keep those precious smiles healthy.

Our oral health assessment includes necessary digital dental radiographs, gum measurements, and a thorough examination of your teeth, jaw joints, and soft tissue to screen for signs of oral cancer, disease or infection, broken-down fillings, or ill-fitting appliances.

With this information in hand, Dr. Rodriguez will offer recommendations and options for any necessary treatment and work with you to develop a plan to keep your smile healthy for a lifetime.

Maintaining Your Oral Health

Regular visits to the dentist have been proven to help prevent dental decay and gum disease. Dr. Rodriguez and our Hygiene Team work together to monitor your dental health and perform preventive treatments to help keep your smile healthy.

Routine Cleanings and Checkups

We recommend that our patients visit our office every 3-6 months for routine preventive care. At this visit, we will take necessary digital xrays and Dr. Rodriguez will perform a dental examination to evaluate the condition of your teeth, gums and jaw joints.

We may recommend fluoride treatments or dental sealants for your child to help prevent tooth decay.

Periodontal (Gum) Health

At each checkup visit, Dr. Rodriguez and our Hygienists will measure your gums to look for signs of periodontal (gum) disease. If left untreated, gum disease can lead to tooth loss and infection.

If periodontal disease is diagnosed, we may perform non-surgical gum therapy in our office, or, refer to a Periodontist (gum specialist) for your care.

Oral Cancer Screening

Oral Cancer Kills One Person Every Hour, 24 Hours a Day in North America… At each preventive visit, Dr. Rodriguez and our Hygiene Team will examine the tongue and oral soft tissue for signs of oral cancer. If any abnormalities exist, we will work with our oral surgeon and medical partners to rule out cancerous conditions.

Be Aware! Oral cancer usually appears as red, white or discolored lesions, patches or lumps in or around the mouth. It is usually painless in the early stages, and often goes unnoticed, so regular screenings can be life-saving.

Prevention is an emphasis of care in our practice. Schedule your preventive visit to keep your smile healthy!

Rebuilding Your Smile with Restorative Dentistry

When tooth structure is broken down due to disease, trauma, or poor bite, teeth can be permanently damaged or lost. This destruction increases the risk of dental infection and can compromise the health of surrounding teeth, as well as disrupt the body's digestive processes.

Restorative techniques utilize the strength of porcelain ceramics and precious metals such as gold and titanium to rebuild teeth to proper shape, size and function. Our goal is to return your smile to a comfortable, disease-free state that is easier to clean and maintain.

Dr. Rodriguez offers a full complement of Restorative Services, including:

  • All-Porcelain Crowns & Bridges
  • Cosmetic Dentistry
  • Conservative Gold Restorations
  • Porcelain Veneers
  • Porcelain Inlays & Onlays
  • Complete & Partial Dentures
  • Restoration of Dental Implants
  • Smile Reconstruction
  • White Fillings & Cosmetic Bonding
  • Root Canals

If you are facing challenges with your smile, such as missing or broken-down teeth, you are not alone. Don't struggle with dental problems - together we can create a plan to save your teeth that fits your schedule and your budget.

Non-Surgical Gum Therapy

If diagnosed early, periodontal disease can often be treated non-surgically in our office. Treatment requires a careful cleaning of the tooth root surfaces to remove plaque and calculus (tartar) from deep periodontal pockets and to smooth the tooth root to remove bacterial toxins.

Follow-up maintenance is critical, we recommend that patients see us regularly every 3 months following periodontal therapy, to keep bacteria under control and promote healing.

Nightguards (or mouth splints) are custom-fitted plastic appliances that are worn over the teeth to protect them from damage due to clenching or grinding (a condition known as Bruxism). Bruxism is usually associated with stress, but can be related to sleep disorders or a poor bite (often the result of multiple missing or crooked teeth).

As part of your complete dental examination, Dr. Rodriguez will evaluate both temporomandibular jaw joints (TMJ) and each tooth surface to observe for signs of distress and address any problems as needed to keep to your teeth and jaw joints healthy and pain-free.
